Nogiku makes her way up to the rooftop after taking a proper shower, when she spots Hot Pants heading into the greenhouse. She follows her inside a moment later... What is she up to?]
Its one thing if you're a killer on purpose, and are hiding it. But if it was just a case of them being used against their will...I can't imagine that torment.
Depending on what kind of person they are at their core... The guilt may very well be destroying them as we speak. If giving them the opportunity to confess will ease their pain, I want to pursue it.
[Whether or not they can confirm who it actually was now that the trial is over, though... It's a different matter.]
... By the way, this is an unrelated matter. But I have new information that might interest you.
You know how, when we want to visit the residents, their archways appear for us...? It was something like that. I thought of them, and an archway appeared— though it was useless. It was completely reduced to rubble.
[... She closes her eyes, thinking back.]
I could hear their voice, though. They want to help us, if they can. I couldn't catch their true name, or whatever answer they had when I asked about the residents. But... They claim not to be "anywhere in particular." And if I understood correctly, they will try to find their way to us soon.

Everything sure did happen a lot.
Nogiku makes her way up to the rooftop after taking a proper shower, when she spots Hot Pants heading into the greenhouse. She follows her inside a moment later... What is she up to?]

[She glances over at Nogiku when she enters.]
...You did good work, today.

Nogiku's gaze slides away, settling on the gardening equipment.]
... I guess. [And now so many people have depression.] We couldn't confirm who killed 9S.
no subject
[And she frowns at that.]
And that killer still lives on. They could be used to kill again.

Yes... Not to mention, we have no way to know their current state of mind. If their situation is anything like Asogi-san's...

[A pause.]
New information? What is it?

I was able to contact them the next day. Though, only for a moment. And I couldn't understand them too well.

[Her attention is completely on her.]
How did you? What did you understand?

[How very odd.]
Hm. I guess we have to be prepared for their arrival. Whatever that may entail.
no subject
[The residents only account for four of the colors.]
Well, whatever that may entail, we'll continue with our investigations in the meantime.

And you just said you thought about the Dreamer? That's all it took to get them to show up?
