[Hey, Nogiku!! Here's Hot Pants, who's holding...two hot dog buns? As monochrome as usual, unfortunately - when she sees the other walking by, she raises a hand with one to get her attention.]

[Hot Pants is....on the rooftop? Sort of looking perplexed as she sits near the firepit. Honestly a little overwhelmed? When Nogiku shows up, she looks over, before gesturing at it all.]

...Do they...have things like this where you come from?

[Looking for her, a while after the, uh, third CYOA return. Where will she be?]

[Hot Pants is....stalking the hallways. She doesn't look upset, but the energy around her is...terrible, to say the least.]

[Seeing Nogiku, she pauses.]

...Have you heard anything new since the news, Nogiku?

[Judging on the chart....Hot Pants finds Nogiku here. She's mostly looking over all the new locations, but beelines over to the other lady to sit next to her.]

...You doing alright?

[Well.

Everything sure did happen a lot.

Nogiku makes her way up to the rooftop after taking a proper shower, when she spots Hot Pants heading into the greenhouse. She follows her inside a moment later... What is she up to?]

[Well.

She standing in front of one of the interactive exhibits at the museum, squinting.]

... "Bromance?"

[In the Central Node, Nogiku scans the area with a frown on her face.]

Well... At least here, there's no fire.

[Yet.]

[Hopefully she's in the medbay, but!! Here Hot Pants is, checking in.]

Hey. How are you feeling?

[Hot Pants is...holding a baby goat! And feeding it a carrot.]

[She glances over at Nogiku with a nod.]

They're...rather hungry.

[HELLO... What is Hot Pants up to? It better be resting the the med bay, because Nogiku is seeking her out.]

[It's a lovely night, isn't it? They've got a killer. They got something right.]

[And yet here Hot Pants is, standing in the ruins of the greenhouse, emotions simmering under the surface, like a bunch of bees in a hive, but the overwhelming one is...sorrow, for sure. She's wiping at her cheeks, one of which is still swollen.]

...Oh. [She's trying to swallow it down, but to no avail.] Nogiku.

[In the library, Nogiku watches the vending machine spit out coffee with a dull expression on her face. She seems tired. Feels tired, too.

She glances at Hot Pants after she retrieves her coffee from the machine.]

Hey.

[Welcome to the void, where they will stay until one of us decides where they are. Nogiku is just vibing and taking a little smoke break when she notices her.]

Hey... Back to your usual self today?

[She's pacing down the beach, when she spots the other lady - she comes up. Stony-faced as ever, but tense all the same.]

...Could have been three today.

[Hey, Nogiku! Hot Pants is here in the void, one sleeve drawn up as she looks over the strange pattern over her skin that luckily doesn't move up to her face.]

[She looks over.]

That was...a lot.

[Hey! She's coming over to the rooftop to the greenhouse, but sees Nogiku and beelines over. It's quiet. So quiet after everything.]

...Does smoking really do much for you, Nogiku? I've always wondered.

[Guess who's hovering concernedly over at the medbay even though I know everything that happened! This lady!]

Nogiku...you feeling better?

[Close to the library's exit, Nogiku is covering her nose and mouth, eyes a little red, and looking incredibly frustrated.]

[Wherever she is, she's coming up. Her eyes look red, from crying.]

....I'm sorry. We didn't find whoever it was.

[Wherever Nogiku is, she's coming up.]

...I'm glad you're okay.

[YOU WERE SO CLOSE, GIRL]

[Yeah, this is bad. This is very bad. And she feels the itching of emotion, reminding her of refraction - Hot Pants finds herself going to the cemetery, blinking when she finds Nogiku there.]

Hey. You alright after all of that? You and the others?

[On the rooftop - Hot Pants is coming out of the greenhouse, seeing Nogiku...and then goes inside to grab something.]

[She's coming up to tuck something behind her ear. A little sprig of white flowers.]
