Perhaps I wouldn't be so concerned about this if it hadn't been for the effect it had on everyone.
[Malik transforming? Yeah, that's not okay but it's workable. The mere sight of him causing everyone to vomit colors like that? The threat of this spreading to others even more? Now those are harder to deal with. This level of danger is enough to make November feel pretty unnerved -- which is remarkable, given how calmly he takes most things]
The other thing was that they both seemed to have almost no information right away, but also immediately asked us to put him down. They don't seem to know much beyond the basics, but they knew killing him was the only option.
It could be me thinking ill of them, I'll grant that, but the only conclusion I can get is that they have seen this happen before.
[He also doesn't say it, but the residents' forms...he's suspecting refractions happened, really. If they used to be human, then refractions must be what turned them into what they are now, but that seems harder to discuss with no proof at all]
I did discuss something along those lines with everyone else in the Crystalline apartment, but last we talked about it there was nothing more than conjecture.

the power of what he turned into was too immense

[November...hadn't. He has fought and heard about extremely dangerous Contractors, but nothing like what happened to Malik]

but not quite like that. he was in control. malik was most certainly not

[It's the wonders of Jojo, November, don't think about it too hard!]

[Both worlds are weird, he supposes]
Something about the way the residents reacted to Malik after he turned into that is bothering me, by the way.

plus, its odd that they haven't really mentioned this "refraction" before now, right?
have you heard the theory that there were eight residents in the past? not four?

its not direct evidence. but its something an archway like the rest of the residents, but destroyed...makes you wonder

We got ourselves a puzzle and still no idea what the bigger picture is. Next week probably will bring new pieces.
